Pair of Cased Duelling Pistols

Original cased pair of English percussion greatcoat pistols. 11.5\" overall with 6 1/4\", 68 caliber full octagonal barrels with captive ramrods, inscribed on the top flats “E. Bond. 45. Cornhill. London”, the lightly-engraved lock plates with sliding half cock safeties signed E. Bond”. Both walnut full stocks with horn forend tip finely checkered at the wrist with oval brass escutcheon plate, lightly engraved brass buttplate, trigger guard with pineapple finial, side plate and long single ramrod pipe. In the original oak case with sunken brass handles in lid and two brass hooks on the front, lined with coarse green felt with original maker’s label in the lid” E. Bond. 45, Cornhill, London”. Sword Cutler and Gun Maker to Honble East India Company”, with the original accessories; brass-tipped wooden loading and cleaning rod, iron wad cutter, iron bullet mold.
