Carved Book Cover

Finely carved in relief depicting Chronos (in ancient Greek mythology he was The Father time and god of harvest and a member of the Titans), enchained with his Scythe and hourglass. Standing by his side, a woman clad in stars holding the sun in one hand and an ouroboros (eternity) in the other, a swan at her feet. Sun rays above amongst scrolling clouds. Mounted on contemporary green velvet.
