A SPANISH CABINET ON STAND (PRICE UPON REQUEST)

A Spanish tortoiseshell and ivory inlaid ebony ebonies rosewood and marquetry cabinet on a stand with the Royal Arms of Castile and Leon.

The upper section with a pediment inlaid with a double headed eagle surmounted by a crown, above a pierced metal gallery cast with masks amongst scrolling foliage, with turned finials above a central cupboard door, inlaid with the coat of arms of Castile and Léon flanked by turned columns opening to reveal a recess, flanked on either side by four drawers, with raised panels depicting huntsmen in landscape with a further drawer below the door, with a moulded apron on claw and ball feet, the sides inlaid with a diaper motif with heart shaped cartouches with scrolling foliage at the angles, on a breakfront stand with three frieze drawers on square tapering legs joined by shaped stretchers on inverted tassel feet; restorations to internal cupboard.
