Satsuma Vase

Compressed globular body resting on raised foot. Body inset with two rectangular panels depicting woman and children in various scenes. Each panel separated by smaller panels with detailed pattern designs. Wide shoulder depicts an outdoor scene of playing children, kites, dog and adults. Suspended colorful flowers and foliage from the fluted neck with flared rim. Signed. Possibly “Gyokuzan”
